I am an impulsive shopper back then. I used to buy stuff that I like at a glance and later regret buying them. My mom used to always scold me for buying things I don't actually use!

But I am a changed woman now! I think not twice or thrice but many many times before I actually purchase something. I only purchase stuff because of their use and necessity.

However, I confess and plead guilty for my one little flaw... I am still an impulsive buyer when it comes to my beloved scrapbooking or craft making. And here is a testament to my impulsiveness.

So there you have it. Guilty as charged! Thanks for stopping by! :)
Yey! I have finally purchased a paper trimmer after a long and tiring search! I am just so ecstatic to use it in my projects (SUPER HUGE GRIN).

I know, my happiness seems to be really shallow, but what can I do, I am just so relieved to finally save time cutting papers...

Now, if I could only find the punchers I've always been dreaming of, then I guess I could die (just kidding!)

I'll get back into my project now. Thanks for stopping by! :)

I am in such high hopes that I could find great scrapbooking materials at Paper Rock Scissors store in Damosa, only to find out that they don't have what I am looking for. I have been searching online and at local bookstores for the supplies I need for my anniversary gift to my hubby (another framed scrapbook page) but with no success. Until I read about the said store.

I learned about them through a blog that I found out was written by my schoolmate in High School. I was so excited to visit the place because of the pictures posted in the blog. The store has a lot of things to offer for a struggling scrapbooker like me.

Together with my mom and sister, we walked under extreme 2:00 afternoon heat just to locate the store. When we finally saw the place, I braced myself for whatever treat that will greet me. And when I walked in, lo and behold, the store was almost empty. The shelves full of wrapping paper and other scrapbooking materials were not in sight. I only saw some notebooks, pencils, coloring books, etc. When I asked the cashier if they sell any craft punchers, she said they restocked and sold school supplies as of the moment.

My heart sunk! I am disappointed. But I could not blame them. I guess I came in on a different season. It is understandable that the start of school is about to begin, thus school supplies are big hit. I just hope that the store overflowing with different craft finds that i saw in the photos will be back and I hope I could finally catch it.

UPDATE:
I happen to get in touch with the owner of this store and she informed me that they (unfortunately) closed their Davao branch and moved to their main store in Cagayan de Oro. (sad)
Witnessing family members and friend's wedding ceremonies gave me the feeling of wanting to be next in line to tie the knot. I get goosebumps when I hear the priest proclaim the newlyweds as husband and wife. It gives me the longing to get married soon.

My boyfriend's sister's wedding became my turning point. My boyfriend and I felt the pressure to be the next one to face the altar. Me being the third child in my family with my two elder brothers already married and my boyfriend being the youngest and the only one left unmarried, we really felt the pressure.

Finally, the passion took me by surprise and just a week after the said wedding, I was finally scribbling down notes and plans for my own wedding. You can call it extreme excitement if you want, but I am so desperately determined to make my wedding the most memorable day of my life without putting a hole on my bank account!

And so there I go hitting the search engines for the most affordable wedding package I could get without sacrificing the quality wedding I deserve. I have already listed down options for the venue, almost completed the list of my guests, sponsors and entourage, and even have the wedding motif, invitations and giveaways planned out. If I may say more, I even have the design for my bridesmaids dresses!

You may be thinking, what else is lacking when I have almost planned out everything already? Honestly, the only thing missing for my dream wedding is the budget! :( However, I will not lose hope! I keep praying that everything will be put in place in God's perfect time!
